Sophie joined the dynamic team in March 2017. She previously practiced as a legal counsel in Belgium for the research and development centre of the Japanese group Asahi Glass Company, a leading glass manufacturer. She later joined Von Seidels, a law firm located in Cape Town, South Africa, where she dealt with intellectual property (IP) laws in the various African countries.
Back in France, Sophie developed a strong interest in information and digital technologies, and worked as a legal counsel for the French Institute INRIA. During her time at INRIA, Sophie negotiated contracts to allocate ownership of IP rights and govern the commercial exploitation of technology developed by INRIA.
Sophie specializes in information technology law, intellectual property and contract law.
Sophie earned a Master in international commercial law from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, then a Master in intellectual property – design laws from University of Lyon II Les Lumières.
Besides her activities in the firm, Sophie is a violonist and has a passion for swing and jazz music. She is a wine enthusiast and an avid sailor.
