George assists the firm as of counsel since July 2018. He is a Supreme Court advocate and has been admitted to the Athens Bar since 2006. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Law from the University of Athens and a master’s degree in Commercial Law from the University of Cambridge. He has also successfully completed DPO training.
George has served as a legal advisor the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Administrative Reform and E-Government and the Athens Bar.
He is both a transactional lawyer and a litigator. George advises clients on Privacy and Data protection Law and Commercial Law.
George has written numerous articles, papers and expert notes on a variety of legal issues including on open data legislation. He is a regular speaker at several legal and entrepreneurship conferences.
He has received the “Award of Excellence” from the University of Athens, and scholarships from the Cambridge European Trust, the Lilian Voudouris Foundation and the State Scholarship Foundation.
George is a senior member of Wolfson College, the Cambridge Law Society and the Cambridge Graduate Law Society.
