Constantin Pavléas was invited to the annual meeting of the Hungarian Biotech Association, in Budapest on May 29, to present GDPR. It was a great honor for Constantin Pavléas to present to this distinguished assembly the GDPR within the field of biotechnology and healthtech. Constantin Pavléas particularly outlined the constraints relative to the collection and processing of sensitive personal data, based on patient consent and the associated high security requirements. However, Constantin also emphasized the opportunity to have uniform legislation across all the EU Member States and the importance to define a data strategy for companies in this sector.
